Coaching for Performance - 1 or 2 days
Please note all of our course are tailored to suit
This training course is specifically designed for line managers and
supervisors who want to develop their skills in performance improvement
planning or work performance management.
This course will introduce participants to Performance Improvement
Planning (PIP). Performance Improvement Planning is designed to
facilitate constructive discussion between a staff member and his or her
manager and to clarify the work performance to be improved. It is
implemented, at the discretion of the manager, when it becomes necessary
to help an employee improve their performance.
The approach used by ScotCoach is to focus on how managers can use a
‘coaching process’ within the PIP framework so that a two-way
conversation is created between the manager and the direct report that
will lead to their commitment to improved performance.
